Jonathan Coopersmith, President

Jonathan Coopersmith has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur, business owner, manager, network engineer, software programmer, technology writer and consultant. Jonathan was co-founder and VP of Research & Development of Lyrrus, Inc., developing new technologies to teach and compose music for the guitar as well as hardware interfaces and software packages for professional, educational and consumer use. Jonathan was responsible for managing intellectual property, specifically patents, trademarks and copyrights; overseeing technical support, and incorporating user and beta-test feedback into the final product; and coordinating overseas product production.

Jonathan has been involved in numerous start-ups and small companies with a wide range of programming and management experience: He was a cofounder of TDG Enterprises, a technology consulting company specializing in network solutions and custom software for private and professional clients; Personnel Manager for The Philadelphia Singers, the Resident Chorus of The Philadelphia Orchestra, managing a roster of over 250 musicians, designing and programming custom databases for payroll, personnel, and patrons; Product Manager for Synygy, Inc., designing and implementing a full product rollout of customized Excel applications to be used by over 5000 pharmaceutical sales reps and managers across the country; and Product Manager at Helios Health, Inc, managing a programming team tasked with designing, writing, and maintaining the company’s custom software.

Jonathan holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrated studies in computer programming, algorithm design, artificial intelligence, and operating systems.
